Ironline Command
★★★★☆ 4.4
Most mobile strategy games feel like a desk game squeezed onto glass. Ironline Command was clearly built the other way around. Units are large enough to drag with a finger, and the fog-of-war reveals are timed so you're never squinting at chaos.
The clever bit is logistics. You don't just build an army; you keep it supplied, and cutting an enemy's supply route can win a map without a single big battle. That turned several of my skirmishes into slow, satisfying chess matches rather than button races.
Skirmish mode against the AI is solid, and the campaign eases you into the deeper systems at a fair pace. It asks for patience, but it rewards it.
What we liked
- Touch-first controls that work
- Supply lines that change how you fight
